Simply the best on the market. laser engraving. Consistently made of solid aluminum and absolutely perfect fit. An update to two previous versions of Starrett. I've never heard of this company, but they are made in the USA. Also has a limited warranty and an engraved serial number. Very cool. Also included in the box is a guide that includes a corona chart (similar to Joe Fusco's chart in This Is Carpentry) when cutting on a flat surface, which is a nice touch. This product was clearly created by people who know what they are doing and who they are selling to. Highly recommended.
