I bought a new laptop with a 256GB M.2 drive and wanted to upgrade to 1TB M.2. I bought this device to clone it and also as an IT consultant I expect to have to do this more often for clients in the future. The disk was cloned perfectly and it was very fast, 5 or 10 minutes max. The new CD booted immediately with no problems. A 256GB partition was created as expected, so I just created a new one with the rest of the space. Please note that you need to format the destination drive first. To do this, I simply connected the Duplicator to my computer via USB. I forgot to do this before my first try and the duplication process got stuck at 25%. Oh my God. Great machine - solid and looks great. Metal rather than cheap plastic is a good thing, as NVMe drives tend to get hot, so the duplicator case basically acts as a heatsink.
