Neutrogena Acne Wash Review

I used to use Costco's Cetaphil's Gentle Cleanser, but I didn't feel like it was strong enough to cleanse my face, so I decided to try something more effective against acne. . I am very disappointed in this sink. I've heard that Neutrogena Face Wash is great and #1 recommended by dermatologists, but I disagree. For the first 3 uses (once in the morning and once in the evening and then another wash in the morning) my skin was so clear, especially after the very first use. However, the second night I felt a burning sensation on the skin around my lips when using the cleanser, so I immediately stopped rubbing and washed the skin off. My skin felt a bit swollen but I felt like everything was fine so I moisturized it and went to bed. The next morning my face felt a little numb but it looked normal so I started washing again. I noticed that my skin was still uneven and a bit numb and after looking in the mirror I noticed small light pink bumps all over the area around my chin and lips. Within a day, bumps started appearing on the rest of my face. The good thing is that they are not visible until you stand very close in front of the mirror, but still feel bad. I also noticed patches of small white pimples on the right and left sides of my chin and on the right and left sides of my lips. Before purchasing I read a few other reviews warning of this experience but thought it might have been an accident and that the other good reviews outweighed the risk. I was wrong! That being said I am in the process of returning this product and will never buy it again. I would also recommend everyone else to avoid this product!
