Perfect for beginners! I had a small project and didn't want to invest a lot of money in a car and it worked. I hand sew to repair or create something or send it to my mom. Who knew it was that easy, especially when it's just a straight stitch. Nothing special, perfect. It took me a minute to figure out the power/pedal. My guess is that it came out of the box with both sets of threads. Thanks very much!
