I bought the GREY XL. Not sure why my review said medium black?Anyways I am fairly young, I am in my 30s. I have suffered from plantar Fasciitis in my right foot for a few years now.I have always loved being in bare feet at all times, in bare feet all day long every day, all year long, however with plantar fasciitis my foot always aches when I'm barefoot :(I was referred to try these socks by a freind. Let me just say these socks are AMAZING!. A few hours after putting them on I noticed that my normally aching foot pain went away :). I am a firm believer in these socks!And best of all, because these are open toe socks, your toes are exposed so I still can get the barefoot feeling which I love :) while also getting pain relief! I wore these socks a full day in my runners with NO socks over top, just wore these socks as they are with the open toes :) and my feet were dry! Wearing these socks I loved getting to feel my bare toes wiggle in my runners.If your toes get cold wearing these socks, just remember these socks stretch, just simply pull the end of the sock down to cover a bit more of your toes.I will be buying more pairs of these open toe socks and I will be throwing out ALL my crampy stuffy closed toe cotton crew socks and only wearing these open toe socks the rest of my life :)I swear by these socks.If you suffer from plantar fasciitis or other foot pain, and love being barefoot but hate the aches that go with it, but still want the barefoot feeling while being pain free, Give these socks a try. You won't be let down :)
