Review on ClosetMaid 6107 Decorative 3-Cube Storage Organizer, Dark Chestnut by Drew Serrano

I have several of these cube storages throughout my house. All the same brand but different models/colors. I bought this particular one for my baby nursery because it was the more expensive model and looked like it was more sturdy and better constructed. I wish I'd bought another model immediately.Building this was a much different experience and all the way up to adding the cardboard back I feared it was just going to collapse on me. It doesn't seem to be as well put together as some of the cheaper models I own which actually made putting it together seem more difficult. The entire thing is held together by 8 screws and was VERY wobbly until adding the backing. The backing seemed to stabilize it more but considering it's going in my babies nursery I question that fact that a piece of cardboard is all that is stabilizing it from falling apart.I have other models with large electronics like TVs sitting on top and I would NOT put a tv on this. The other models I have the backing seem to be more for aesthetic purposes and are almost optional. This would literally collapse without the backing. I'm very disappointed that I paid so much more for this. Now I'm finding I need another storage cubicle for the nursery and I feel I'm now stuck with this in order to have the colors match.
