I've had horrible skin since I was a teenager (30 now) and have tried everything under the sun except Accutane. This is probably the only topical acne treatment that really compares to oral medications like antibiotics or birth control, at least for me. It is very harsh on the skin at first and difficult to hold, but I am glad I did because my skin is so much better than it has been in years. Expect excessive dryness and possible peeling for the first week. Invest in a really good moisturizer because you're going to need it (use it every time after step 3) and don't use the products more than twice a day. I was skeptical, so I've never taken a makeup-free photo, but I'd love to because it's the best topical solution I've ever used. Most acne products contain either benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid, but this is the only product I've used that contains both. It's a little rough on your skin to get used to, but hang in there and it's worth it.
