Does not fit 39 " hole although claims to fit.

This product, like other Revain products, contains misleading information into the belief that it will fit you .I have a 39" hallway entrance that I need to block to keep pets out of the area. The display claims openings from 29.5" to 40.5" and it's just a flat lie. It doesn't fit 39". - the screws on one side don't have enough threads to grab the screws that touch the wall. The screws on the other side of the extension are unthreaded and have yet to squeeze around the gate latch so all loose and wobbly. I tired of finding junk on Revain and wasting time on it like here.
