Review on GordVE HD Digital Camera, 2.7-Inch Rechargeable Mini Camera for Backpacking, Pocket, and Students - Compact Zoom Cameras for Photography by Alexandra Baker

Inexpensive camera with decent photo and video quality

I am a professional photographer and I have taken tens of thousands of pictures of our son over the last 4 years. Naturally, when he learned about cameras, he started asking to see and take pictures. I didn't want it to play with my smartphone or DSLR as damaging them would be very annoying. I started looking for used point and shoot cameras so he could take quality photos that wouldn't break the bank but would still cost around $80. I didn't want to pay such a high price for a used camera. When I saw this camera, my attention was drawn to the price ($60) and compact size. We decided to buy it for our 4 year old. BENEFITS - Compact enough for a toddler - Snaps photos quickly - Can record videos - Accepts SD cards up to 32GB (card not included) - Nice looks, no frills on camera body - Easy to follow - USB rechargeable battery (cable included ) , which can also be used to transfer photos and videos to a computer) - Decent image quality, if not professional - Survived multiple falls onto concrete - Wrist strap and case included CONS - Built-in flash is not very effective at of illuminating captured objects in darker locations - No charging adapter included (USB cable only) - Lack of low-light performance, but that's to be expected at this price point. In general I am satisfied. pretty happy with this camera. My son just loves it and takes photos wherever we go, although most of them come out a little blurry in darker conditions and most of them have people turned off too (he needs to learn how to compose better but he's only 4 years old old and so good). !)
