I usually wear a size 10 and have a pair of size 10 boots with a hard sole and two buttons that fit well, maybe even a little big. I ordered a size 10 thinking they would fit but found they hurt my feet because they are so small. Luckily I was able to return them to my local UPS store and received another larger pair the same week. After finding the right size, I fell in love with these shoes. I've had them for a few months now and couldn't be happier. I work in the kitchen and wear Dansko clogs all day, so I want to be as close to barefoot as possible after 12 hours in hard, heavy shoes. I put on my moccasins and go home. I also wear them when I run errands at the weekend (not that I'm doing that much during this pandemic), but they're holding up better than I thought. Of course you'll have to dodge puddles or sharp objects, but run to the grocery store or, well, that's pretty much the only place I go at the moment, but they're pretty good for that. They won't last forever if these are your everyday shoes, but if you're comfortable going almost barefoot and don't mind changing your shoes a few times a year I think you'll like them. Or, if you're just looking for slip-on shoes, they'll probably work for you too.
