So far I have had positive experiences with this jacket. Considering the price, it seems very good value for money and seems to do a decent job of "dropping out". The zippers are plastic but very clean and smooth. They are attached on the left (I think in Europe). The padding and armor feel nice and well placed, and the denier material feels quite heavy and resistant to abrasion from the ground. Regarding the fit, I bought a LARGE based on the size chart. I'm 5-8" tall, fairly athletic build, 40" bust, 32" waist and 30" inseam. I weigh 160 pounds. There's just enough room underneath for a down jacket when it gets really cold. tried it in cold weather, back in the 80's here in Southern California. I want it to be primarily crash proof, but it feels quite warm with the liner zipped closed. There is not much space in the stomach, so if you have a little more, it is better to order one size up. Plenty of room in the shoulders and chest, but the bicep area of the sleeves doesn't add any extra room. Just cuddle me with a long-sleeved sweatshirt under the jacket. It fits me remarkably well and I'm happy with it. I hope the sizing information and my measurements will help others find a good fit. I will update if necessary.
