Worked great on my 43mm F4i forks. Don't waste your time with cheap tricks like PVC pipes, tape/tape etc. Trust me I've walked this route. The time it takes going to the hardware store, finding the right size pipe, cutting/filing it to size and then struggling with all sorts of hammer blows from all sides etc to keep it in place, it's not worth it. It literally took 3 seconds to drive in a filling with this tool. First squeeze the seal with some sort of oiled protector (I used a Starbucks plastic cup cut into a rectangle), then 3 light taps and it's fully seated. The seal driving surface is beveled to apply force to the outer seal ring as it should. Good grip and weight. If you are thinking of buying this tool, GO FOR IT! You will not regret it.
