Can't read in the dark, difficult to use

First off, when it says that it works with every ovulation app, by that it means that you can manually type the numbers into any app; the thermometer does not actually have any function related to any app at all.There is no back light on the display, so when I wake up before my husband and check my temperature in the dark before getting out of bed, it is nearly impossible to read the numbers. There is a button to check the last reading that I can use once the lights are on, but this feature is very difficult to use. There is one butt
