Review on Italian Sicilian Scopa Playing Modiano by Piyush Ventura

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Whims makes an extremely fun game for the whole family

I bought these cards on a whim and I have to say they are worth every penny and more. I've always been a fan of unique looking playing cards ever since I found a German Skat deck in my grandmother's house as a kid. While trying to find a decent deck of Stingrays, Revane suggested these "Italian Scopa Playing Cards". I gave up, bought them and used Wikipedia to learn the game. Scopa is easy to learn, involves some strategy and is suitable for all ages. Everyone from my 6 year old daughter, my retired teacher mom and 20 year old co-workers with math difficulties loves this game. Remember that the cards are small and very hard. Mixing becomes routine. Each region of Italy has different types of Scopa maps. So once you start, chances are you'll become a possessed Pokémon kid and try to catch them all.
