They recommend using a green or brown bottle so that the "cracks" on the coin are not visible. The cracks are a bit more visible than I expected, but it's still a pretty good illusion. If you look closely at the photos you can see the rubber band being inserted around the coin. The rubber band is pretty tight and hard to spot unless you're really looking for it. It appears as if there is a small black ring on the outside of the coin. Includes 5 replacement rubber bands.
