Unlike other stands I've seen before purchasing, this stand instead rotates your TV/monitor on a pole that falls into the top of the stand others attached to the front of the rack in various ways. Also, the horizontal arms that the red and black TV/monitor mounts hang from go through the stand and are not attached to the front of the stand. Therefore, keep the weight of the TV/monitor stand as close to the center of the stand as possible to minimize leverage to lean forward and thus load the base. The pivot and support arm design of this stand is the simplest and most effective in my opinion for providing maximum support and strength. BTW, these are images from my 65 pound 55 inch TV/monitor.
