I purchased these candles from the same supplier as the Luminaria holders. So you would expect them to work well. Unlike most candles, where the wick is embedded in wax, they were made by drilling a hole in the wax and threading the wick through it. As a result, there was no wax holding the wick in place. We put out 56 lamps and 40% of the wicks fell out completely, some of them as soon as we took them out of the box. We had to get other candles to complete the show. We also discovered this morning that one of the candles had melted a hole right through the holder. Very disappointing.
