You NEED a special wick trimmer to trim these wicks down to 1/4 inch each time you light them for less soot, less wax tunneling and longer burn. a wick of wax for the next burn. You NEED a candle sniffer when lighting taper or votive candles as there is no wax puddle to use the wax ladle with. In this set, they all cost about $4 each. Not only are they super functional, but they look great next to your candles. If you're burning Yankee, if you're burning B&BW, if you're burning Diptyque or Cire Trudon, this kit will enhance and prolong the burning of your candles so much, it's PAYING for 1-3 candles. Even if you burn less expensive candles, why put up with more smoke and soot than you need? If you don't have these tools, it's time to light candles like an educated adult and BUY THE KIT !
