This is a comfortable palm grip that helps reduce contractures or position the hand in a more neutral position. I have given it to my Rheumatoid Arthritis patient to keep her fingers from digging into her palms and it has worked great for her. I wish there was a better way to secure the palm around the arm than a rubber band, velcro might help. I see that in a lower level patient who cannot cognitively keep that palm in place, it's easy to lose it. But overall the material is very soft and the grip width is nice and thick.
