Honestly I can't say enough about these shoes. I originally bought them for kayaking and expected for the price I paid they will fall apart. However, I couldn't be more surprised. Not only were they perfect for kayaking, I even wore them for a bit while backpacking around Alaska last weekend. I've climbed boulders and rocks, walked over swampy moss and bushes and walked 3 or 4 miles over them and to my surprise all the seams and fabrics still hold together perfectly. This shoe is comfortable, perfect for running or hiking. Even walking on big boulders and small stones felt great in it. Highly recommended. Don't spend a lot of money on a pair when you can get them for $38!
