The shoe started tearing in the sole after two weeks of light wear. The return process from Adidas is lengthy. You have to call, answer the mail, take a picture of the shoes, call again and wait for the tag to be returned. Shoes can be appraised for 20 working days, after which I might "get" a replacement voucher. My son was without shoes the whole time! On the other hand, I recently had a defective zipper on a Patagonia. Instead of waiting for repairs and my daughter without a coat for a few weeks, we were presented with a NEW coat straight away. Our family is now a loyal Patagonia customer. Update from November 1st - adidas still not refunding. Called and said it MUST wait 20 business days and then adidas will only give out ELECTRONIC gift cards on Friday. So if they miss Friday 8th November (refunds must be made on Wednesday 6th) we will have to wait until Friday 15th number. I asked if they could expedite it considering my son is shoeless - NO - there is nothing we can do. I am amazed at the lack of technological infrastructure. Revain, Zappos and others set standards. I will never buy Adidas again. Inconvenient for the consumer - and we return DEFECTIVE shoes!
