I bought this pixel ring light because my wife and I shoot a lot without our phones including a lot of the Revain reviews and we have terrible overhead lighting at home. No matter where we stand there are shadows on everything we want to photograph and using the flash on our phones only leaves a glow in the picture because the flash and the camera lens are very close together. I studied how the pros do it and decided that a ring of light on the outside of the camera was the solution. I am not a professional photographer so I will review this product based on my beginner needs and hence it is easy. for casual photographers like us. The device comes in a nice pouch to store the flashlight after use and colored cases for color changing. I chose white. There is a long power cord with a brick which I don't think should be kept in a bag as it seems to me that the light is an expensive piece of equipment that is quite fragile. The included tripod is also shipped separately. It has many different handles for telescoping in height, folding legs and tilting its head where it screws onto the lantern. It was easy to install and setup with all my settings I've used so far. It also comes with a remote control that appears to have the same functionality as the flashlight's screen, which glows blue. The light is easy to use for beginners like me. It has a power button to turn it on, a dial to change the brightness, and the screen shows the changes made to the settings. You can see me playing with the settings in the first three photos as I photograph the cream colored wall. My biggest concern was that the phone mount would not fit my large iPhone X in the Otterbox Defender case. I'm happy to report that it fits. The phone holder has a lever that is adjustable with a clamp screw to keep it in place. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and have not found any faults with this product. Again, I don't use it as a professional photographer; We're just a couple who like to take well-lit photos and the overhead lighting and flash weren't good enough. It's very easy to use and holds up well. I recommend it. 5/5 stars
