We bought this to use in our RV to replace an electric fireplace that no longer works. I was pleasantly surprised that it heats much better than a fireplace! I love that it has an adjustable flame, it's perfect for our device, it's pretty quiet, you can hear the fan running but it's not annoying. It's good to have a remote control, the only downside is that there is no temperature control on the remote, you have to open the front panel and turn the dial, which also doesn't give you a temperature range, you just play until you find what you need . convenient for you and then install. How energy efficient we will see after the first electricity bill. I will check later.
