I have an older cat who has slowed down a bit and lost some weight. I chose this food to encourage him to eat more and I want all four of my cats to have a healthier diet free of grains and animal by-products. The oldest cat just attacked this food which I mixed with some water in his bowl. He usually licks the gravy off the can, leaving chunks of chicken or turkey behind, but he ate the entire can along with the meat in a couple of hours. The pieces of meat are round and soft enough for all kittens. The vet told me a long time ago not to feed my cats cheap food. Wellness Natural grain-free wet cat food may cost a little more, but it's worth knowing my cats are eating what they need and what's good for their health.
