I've been using it for almost 4 weeks now.

My precious choker had problems with vomiting. His vomiting became more and more frequent. My husband and I learned proper cat nutrition. Unfortunately he's getting older now, so we're trying to be more responsive to his needs. We switched him to a grain free diet. After trying the Pro plan and making him throw up every day, we decided to give recovery a try. Now my collar is very picky. He likes the sauce best. At this meal, he licks the gravy clean and then comes back a little later to eat a…

Good for kitten health and they love it

I have an older cat who has slowed down a bit and lost some weight. I chose this food to encourage him to eat more and I want all four of my cats to have a healthier diet free of grains and animal by-products. The oldest cat just attacked this food which I mixed with some water in his bowl. He usually licks the gravy off the can, leaving chunks of chicken or turkey behind, but he ate the entire can along with the meat in a couple of hours. The pieces of meat are round and soft enough for all…

Healthy food but my cats didn't think it was

I chose this food precisely because it had a decent ingredient list (no by-products/carrageenan). I've made a few experiments with different cuts of meat. At first I tried feeding my cats the taste of the pieces but in the end they couldn't take the cubes well and then ended up on the floor around the bowl. I then tried the sauces which were much easier for my cats to eat but I guess they weren't big fans of the taste. One of my cats is picky and never ate his wet food. The other is a chunk and

Our cats love wellness but dislike sauces

All of our cats had severe digestive issues so we looked for 'healthier' grain free cat food. All cheap products use plant proteins like wheat gluten or corn gluten. We chose Wellness as a good compromise between price and quality (and easy disposal of the glass). We loved the choice of different textures and flavors for cats. Others only have a few flavors or just pie. We chose gravy first because our cats love the gravy, but the wellness sauces have been inconsistent. Sometimes the sauce was…

Cat Food in Reality 101

It's frustrating when people decide to feed their cat a certain brand of canned food because they (people) think it tastes good. Do you really think cats decide what kind of lizard, rat or pigeon to eat based on taste? As a pet parent, a food-loving cat should be at the bottom of your list of reasons for choosing one. Saying you feed your cat because she "loves" it is like saying you only feed your two-year-old cotton candy three times a day because she "loves" it. Following the strict…

This food helps my older cat with diabetes

A cat breeder friend told me that an alarming number of cats and dogs develop diabetes as they age. The likely cause is wheat, corn, and rice, which are used as bulking agents in commercial foods. Cereals are particularly harmful to cats since they are carnivores. That means they can only digest meat. Grains simply raise blood sugar levels. I learned this the hard way when Danny, my 18 year old cat, lost his appetite and balance. He walked on the flat part of his hind legs and slid across my…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • I won't say anything

The picture shows Dixie's sister and brother Deuce in a tuxedo. Yes, a pair of D.Evils! I am severely disabled and of course the wonderful children knew that pets seem to help people and adopted them from an animal shelter, all vaccinations etc. Dixie is shy, good luck if you see a lightning cat. Of course she really falls out of bed if it's just mom. Walking in and out of the hospital non-stop, and surely at my peak of observation by now, I could smell it. I've sniffed this order 3 times since

  • Easy to use
