For the most part it was comfortable. I lowered it a few times during my run, but it went up again because it's quite small (33 inches at its longest opening). It's all a matter of preference, I prefer to ride a little lower. My iPhone 11 Pro with OtterBox fits in the main pocket, ID and car keys in the left pocket, house keys, if needed, in the right pocket. A few $$s or cc will also fit in the main/large pocket.
