Really like it so far

I've only had it for about a month so I can't rate it for durability but I really like the design. First, it has a separate UL plug-in switching power supply with an output of 20 VDC and 6 amps (120 W). As a result, no power supply gets hot in the stand itself, which is a good thing. Nevertheless, there is not much heat either from the case or from the power supply. It also means that in the event of a power outage, you might not have to throw out the entire device. The device itself has a relatively heavy metal body, so it stays on the table even with a glass top. I had a collection of different rechargeable devices of different sizes. Luckily I was able to keep almost all of them in one place in the office so a charging station worked for me. If you have to throw them around the house, a large central charging station might not be the best solution. I have found that adjustable plastic dividers work quite well. No problem. Some of my batteries come in their own holder that I plug into the device's USB port. The largest device I use is a 2019 10" Samsung Tab A, which works great. You may need different cable lengths. I use a Samsung USB C connector and the 1ft charging cable is about the right length. For small devices, a 9" cable is better. Devices that don't come with the Alxum base station will require a longer cable. I paid Revain just $57 over the holidays. Looks like the price has gone up again but I still think it's value for money at the higher price point If you register a product on the Alxum website the warranty is extended for another year which means you have a Got 3 year warranty which is not bad for this type of product.

Pros
  • It's great
Cons
  • Some bugs
