I never liked coffee and didn't have much taste and I was picky about espresso drinks. I felt it to the point that I openly admitted it during a tasting session when I used to work at Starbucks. The often chalky and bland taste, along with the resulting acidity, always makes me wonder if it's worth it for the energy - and my answer is always no. But lately I'm starting to realize. Energy drinks and soda started to wreak havoc on my health, and tea doesn't provide enough energy. I need a healthier and more effective alternative. I have a complex set of needs ranging from flavor to low acidity and this coffee fills them all perfectly. I never thought that I would find a coffee that not only tasted good, but also didn't aggravate my stomach acid. Keep in mind that I didn't do an official pH test - these results are based on my general condition during the day. Aside from the great taste and great aftertaste, Kick Ass propels me through the day like a SpaceX rocket. I'll admit that the energy boost it gives has diminished a bit since I first drank it, but it's still higher than I'd get from anything else with fewer downsides. That led me to coffee.
