Works exactly as described. Doesn't pull hair, cuts to different lengths, absolutely no nicks. Some say it's too big. I didn't find this a problem and I have small hands. Charging is done through the stand that is inserted into the wall and then the groomer is connected to the stand. Therefore, when you charge the device, it stands against the wall. It takes up space, but since it doesn't need constant charging, it wasn't a problem for me. There are three heads or guardians, four if you count the blade alone, and each has their hair cut to different lengths. Together these guards are a bit bulky to store, but I only use a head plus a headless blade. The large guards are plastic and while well made, they can break under pressure.
