The tablet was purchased a month ago to replace the Tab S2 as entertainment during trips / travels and as a bedside device. I took it based on the reviews, because most of them are positive. Of the pleasant, I note the high resolution of the screen, the aluminum case, the rather narrow and uniform display frames, the small thickness and weight. Holding the S5e with one hand is comfortable. The assembly is of high quality, nothing creaks or falls off (made in Taiwan). Separately, I will single out external speakers - this is something! They sound a room of 30 m2 for one or two, do not rattle and have a bass, the sound is very pleasant. The battery does not excite so much, it is simply sufficient. But it takes quite a long time to fully charge (3.5 hours), despite the fact that the inscription "Fast Charge" flaunts on the power supply. Of the unpleasant, this is the color reproduction of the display - it is blue. White is not white, but with a blue tint. Yes, you can turn on the "blue filter", but then the screen will turn yellow :) And in general, no settings helped me. Further, the processor and speed in general - well, that's it. Sometimes the tablet thinks, especially after a long period of inactivity, for example, when you just switch from one application to another. Smoothness still limps. I'm not talking about games, I don't play them. Of the little things - there is no jack for 3.5 mm, there is no flash for the camera, the electronic pen is not supported. The Internet is replete with problems with the Wi-Fi module, allegedly failing due to the fact that you block the antennas with your hands. I have not encountered this yet, everything is working normally. I don’t watch the screen PWM, my eyes don’t hurt. Summing up, I can say so - the tablet is not bad, but depending on how much money? Perhaps $ 400 is the ceiling for him.
