Not screen friendly. Can cause damage.
The clip may damage your laptop or iPad. Its grip is very strong and could potentially break glass. It can also damage the pixels on the screen. I could barely open the clamp due to the tight spring they use. I would get rid of the headache of a damaged laptop, tablet or monitor.
