Although I already have a set of bowls I was looking for something more. Something I could easily slip a full helping of noodle soup into without having to bend over the table, something I could easily toss into a salad without spilling lettuce and dressing. and I found it in these bowls. They are beautiful and seem to be the perfect size. I was concerned that they might be very large, but they really aren't. It's perfect for ramen, salad and pasta with plenty of room to stir without making you feel like a real pig. It is similar in size to a Corelle serving bowl. I loved my bowls so much I ordered another set so I wouldn't have to go without if they all ended up in the dishwasher. I also think they go perfectly with my other bowls with a similar pattern in blue. I'm usually a bit on the OCD side of anything matching and these bowls come in a variety of designs. but i actually find them funny. For some reason, in this case I don't mind that they are different, it adds to their charm!
