I wear size 8 women's shoes so I ordered S/M. this splint was so tight that it was difficult for me to put it on, after just a few hours I had to take it off with great difficulty because my foot hurt, the foot/toe area was swollen from my feeling due to lack of blood. The idea is great, shame they made it so small. The reason I brought it was to support him in a fall 6 weeks early and a broken ankle. I still needed good ankle support when the ankle brace was no longer needed. I would suggest buying one size up if you don't have a very narrow leg and foot.
