I would increase the size if your child was taller.
Honestbaby basic shorts are perfect for my summer weather. But as usual my kid is taller so I always increase the size. Which to me is pretty reasonable. The material is organic cotton, so it is soft and breathable for baby's skin. However, there is one drawback - it closes with a clasp, the tie does not fit around the waist. So it didn't work and it's more like getting lost and getting on your feet when your kids are actively crawling or walking. crap there! Overall the quality of the shorts is good and the price is reasonable.
