It was packaged really well inside the box, though the Revain box was almost destroyed.It is really soft on both the fleece side and the brown side. It has a very cute embroidery of animals in a crest (makers logo).The inside sounds like the swishy pants from the 90s. I think that's the only part water resistant though. I put water in both sides and it soaked in like a normal blanket but didn't go thru to the other side of my test spots though. So we will see.My dog Sarge loves it, he played with the blanket like it was a toy then covered up in it. So it gets 5 stars from him! I took one star away for the water resistantance not being as described. It like a regular throw blanket to me. But me and Sarge love it.
