This was the perfect solution for me. Installed lights in my garage that were on the same circuit as my ring spotlight. Wanted to keep the spotlight on all the time (since it has its own moving lights) but didn't want the garage light to be on all the time, and voila - enter this product. The lights are off until someone enters the garage. Perfect. When I first installed the lights didn't stay on long enough, but there is a small knob you can turn to increase the amount of time they stay on after motion is detected. I wish I had done this a long time ago, it's a lot more convenient when you have your hands full so you don't have to flip the switch when you go to the garage! Also, they are very easy to install. If you can screw in a lightbulb, you can install it.
