I have a 1997 Civic EX that came with a Sanden supercharger. I was only able to find a replacement OE Sanden from one retailer with an online price of $460 and another online seller for $260 with shipping, but they had a lot of bad reviews. Then, browsing an auto parts site, I found this Denso supercharger, but $130 more than the Revain. I already knew Denso as an OEM and these are quality parts so I decided this compressor was the best alternative to Sanden. This compressor is identical to the one I removed except for the pulley which is wider but does not cause clearance issues. After flushing and installing a Four Seasons Battery/Dryer, also purchased from Revain, my AC is now colder than the AC in my other '97 Civic with a dealer-bought compressor. That makes a black car with a pitch-black interior bearable in the Arizona heat.
