This is a solid mouse pad in its price range. If it was a brand like Razer, Alienware, Hyper X, Logitech and so on I would expect a little more. You get what you pay for and it exceeds your expectations. In my personal opinion. It could be a little softer. (As a solution, I put some shelf liners under the mat, found in the kitchen section at Walmart.) The mouse pad doesn't lie completely flat. There are "waves/waves" at the top edges of the overlay. (I try to smooth them out by placing a thin cloth over the pillow and pressing down with an iron. Didn't work. Tried rolling it the other way and putting it back in the box for a week put.Didn't work..Put between spring and mattress for a week too.No dice there.) About what I like about this mouse pad. The size is AWESOME! It fits perfectly on my 71" x 31 1/2" desk. The keyboard and mouse have plenty of room and the keyboard doesn't move around the tablet at all. I like the clean low profile look. No huge and sticky logos, just a small product name in the bottom right corner. Finally and above all. It runs well and the friction level is perfect for my personal preferences. It tracks as good as any gaming pad for 1/3 the price. The level of friction is comparable to something slower than the SteelSeries QcK. So if you use it for office purpose or MMO games, this is a good choice. FPS players can look elsewhere.
