I have a lot looser neck and less neck pain after using it. I think how it affects neck pain will depend on why you have neck pain. Getting rid of stiffness and tightness helps a lot.Also, the instructions that came in the package are reversed of those on here. On the instructions I received it said you should start with the concave? (The side that is the end of the tongue without the slope) and that the side with the slope is more difficult. However after reading here and testing, the side with the slope is definitely for beginners and should be used first to adjust. It's fine, I use both sides I just use the easier side more.
