I've spent many hours looking for a new dinnerware that looks nice and is comfortable for everyday use. I wasn't looking for fine dinnerware for a special occasion. I like the look of this set but I have a few requirements. They must be suitable for microwave use (this is not the type of plate that gets very hot when removed from the microwave). You are perfect. The rim stayed cool enough that there was no problem grabbing it. They also had to be dishwasher safe. These are perfect too. To date there are no problems. Now we need to look at durability for everyday use. The time will show. So far, so good. Overall I give this place 5 stars. The set arrived in perfect condition. No chips, cracks or chips. There are some minor imperfections throughout the set. I'm picky, but the flaws are so small and so small that you'll never know unless you look closely. Again, I would have no problem with guests and eating from this plate. They're not made for fine china, but for everyday use they're amazing and nothing to be ashamed of. My wife and I love them so much I ordered a second set yesterday.
