I don't like Jersey at all.
We ended up returning this item. It's very crumpled and noisy, the plastic on the back looks like a cheap holiday tablecloth. The mesh sides didn't feel very durable and it didn't feel like it would hold up to a machine wash. The plastic backing made any stretch in the upper virtually useless for use with a Purple mattress or memory foam. We figured the plastic backing (if used) would likely retain heat since this product doesn't have "cooling" properties. I wouldn't recommend it if you're going for a non-traditional mattress that needs stretch material or if you're worried about a noisy cover.
