We ended up returning this item. It's very crumpled and noisy, the plastic on the back looks like a cheap holiday tablecloth. The mesh sides didn't feel very durable and it didn't feel like it would hold up to a machine wash. The plastic backing made any stretch in the upper virtually useless for use with a Purple mattress or memory foam.
