My dog has a habit of pissing on my bed if I'm not careful. She peed several times while the cover was being put on. The cover slipped over my mattress and foam pad. My foam pad and mattress stayed dry when my dog peed on my bed. It's also washable and hasn't ripped or lost its water resistance after multiple washes. ---------------------------------- ------------------------------ ----------------------------- UPDATE: My girlfriend had an accident during her month and as a result she couldn't get on the styrofoam! Also, it's so waterproof that when I put it from the washer to the dryer after washing, it carried a ton of water like a bucket. I had to dump all the water out before putting it in the dryer.
