A decent 50 amp plug for power and electrics

I used this plug to make a 50 amp cable from the generator to the switch in my house. I'm a master electrician and have been doing this type of work for years, so you know you're getting a good honest evaluation from someone who really knows electricity. That. Screws can break thin strands of copper if you overtighten them or if you improperly strip and place the wire. It is EXTREMELY necessary to secure the cable properly in the bracket to prevent movement of the cable and wire. You should NOT be able to turn or move the rope after the tensioner has been tightened. Eventually, if you can, this will loosen the copper strands and screws and loosen the connection. This, in turn, causes excessive heating and can melt the plastic body of this plug. My generator is only rated for 12,500 peak watts or 52 amps, which is the wattage my house will never draw. I would have to put on a lot of things to get close to that kind of power. I only needed a 50 amp alternator as 30 amps is not enough for my setup. I have a well pump with high starting current and high running requirement. So if it's, say, my fridge and mic, it's definitely over 30 amps. If you're only going to be using 30 to 40 amps, like me, then that's fine. The case itself isn't as rigid and thick as we'd like. You can squeeze it slightly and see the bend in the plastic. I accidentally dropped it and it didn't break, so that's a plus. Otherwise it makes a pretty decent impression. It's definitely better than the tiny cheap Chinese plugs that come with junk generators, but it's definitely not Generac or Leviton quality. I still recommend it if you're not constantly dragging. 50 amps or more.
