does it comply with UL 1449? the answer is NO

that the back said UL STD Compliant. 1363, 1449" and that's why I bought it but that doesn't say anything. It says it's the standard for something that's unreadable but doesn't conform to the 1449 standard. So if you're after 1449, get a whole house surge protector, otherwise multiple plugs can be plugged into the device, but don't rely on it to provide the required level of surge protection.
