I first became acquainted with the EXR line when I bought the F200 and because of that experience I later bought the F500. While I liked the 500, I had one major complaint. The built-in flash pops up automatically when the camera is turned on. If you don't need the flash, you have to manually lower the flash. Of course, if you needed the flash later, you had to turn the camera off and on again. Everything changed with the F600. Now there is a button on the side of the body to control the flash. If you want, press the button. If not, leave him alone. Your call. This model has many improvements, but this one small change won me over! That's what I expected from FUJI. My personal opinion is that the EXR technology (even in auto mode) puts this camera range well above the rest of the class.
