Best to invest in receivers and amplifiers
If you have D50s and a high definition audio system you will definitely appreciate the sound improvement. It didn't affect the A50 with Sundaras and U12T in any way to my ears, but it does make the D50 smoother at high frequencies, with a larger soundstage and more organic sound compared to an external battery. The D50's are much better now, and the most obvious difference I've noticed is on my Emotiva AMP amp with B&W 603 speakers.
