If you don't plan on sealing them with any treatment or not using them with water at all, don't buy them. After a single use and washing off the gunk that got on it from scratching the pan, the tree fell apart completely. I got them because in the picture they looked like they were already sealed to avoid the obvious water problem causing the wood to split, but apparently I was wrong. Since you need to use some force to remove things, you can't use them without getting a massive splinter. They also have quite a thick edge as far as scrapers go, so overall not a very good product for the job I was doing. try to use it (scraping pots and pans)
