Review on 15-Feet Propane Appliance Hose Assembly For Mr. Heater With Improved Search Engine Optimization (SEO) by Yuri Rochelin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Built To Last: my feedback

I am very pleased with this hose. It feels very heavy duty and of substance. I use it to attach to my barbeque and turkey cooker, as opposed to constantly hauling around and refilling propane tanks, now that I can hook to my in-ground propane tank. While this hose could possibly be used to fill smaller 5, 10 or 20 gallon tanks, you would need a pump to do so, at least from an in-ground tank and from what the pros have told me who fill my 1,000 gallon tank, you need a pump regardless. I cannot afford one of those. I still have to take my smaller tanks in, but not nearly as often. These guys used to fill my smaller tanks when they came out to top off my in-ground tank, but not any more. I forget, but I think it was due to new laws and/or safety reasons, as I believe the truck's pumps are designed for larger transfers of LPG and are trickier to regulate the flow into small tanks.I also have an outdoor heater that uses the 5 gallon tanks and I have propane running to it, but I have not tried hooking to it yet with this hose as I have not used it enough to try it. When and if I do, I will update this review. If there is a problem, it won't be the hose.

Pros
  • Just right
Cons
  • Could potentially pose a safety hazard if not installed or used properly
