There is a tag in the side seam that reads: 95% polyester, 5% spandex. For the price (less than $20) I don't mind too much; This is a beautiful dress, fits well, looks good, well made. But I don't like misleading descriptions, that's why the rating is four stars, not five stars. I'm 6-8, 5'4, 130lbs, 36-29-40; Small size fits me well in this dress. The material is very thin, but does not shine through due to the dark color. There is something sticking to the "fat bits" so your mileage may vary depending on your need for rompers or spanks. The steel blue is a beautiful French blue, more beautiful in real life than in the photo. I wanted a very simple dress that I can wear with flashy accessories/scarves/jewelry and this is perfect for that.
